I didn't expect this to be an actual rescue, and thought the premise was that wolverines will dig up carcasses and eat them, so they use them to find bodies in avalanches. This is way more heartwarming.

I would name my rescue wolverine Mister Allarounder.

That guy looked like Karl Pilkington, which makes me imagine this as one of Ricky Gervais's little gags.

"Now Karl, we're going to send in a Saint Bernard, you know, those Alpine rescue dogs?"

"Oh, he's going to have a, er, a keg of ale around his neck?"

"No Karl, they don't do that in real life. But the Saint Bernard is going to think you're trapped and try to rescue you, all right?"

Later: Ricky opens the cage, a grizzly bear rushes out and mauls Karl, Ricky laughs.
