Yeah, it's too bad he nuked his channel before I could reply, because I probably could have given him a really good, rational analysis of why people hate him, and what he could do to change that. It's partially his looks, and those are both beyond his control and unfortunate, but I think there's enough stuff he CAN change that it may still be possible (albeit difficult) for him to rehabilitate his image.

Also, he seems to have missed the point of Stefan Molyneux and Teal Swan, which I think is the most important thing here. It's not that they're good looking (although they are) or that they're well-spoken (again, they are); rather, it's the fact that they appeal directly to their listeners, offering the listeners something personal and comforting (emotional support for victims of child abuse, in both cases) rather than simply lecturing them on politics and philosophy.

For example, I think if Nick redid his "I am Christ" video, and tweaked the wording a little to make it "You are Christ", he could actually start to gain a following on YT.

Nick, unfortunately, is emo. No one else makes the "appeal to Internet" fallacy. He totally fits in on the Internet and he is treated just as piss-poorly on it as everyone else. He just doesn't see it.

Fedsmoker is not an attractive man. We've watched him sex-skeeze on a meth'd out anorexic lamenting that her child was taken away. Yet, when he speaks, it's with a bravado and showmanship that makes us love him in the expressions on the faces of others.

What Nick lacks is a lot of videos where we can see the looks on other peoples' faces. Nick needs an audience and people need to see that audience see Nick.

Well, I was going to say he'd work better like CreationistCat - a semi-animated webseries were we never actually see his face, just a cat or a cute ferret speaking in Nick's voice - but I think "Teens React to Nick Bravo" would be a good publicity stunt, too.

This thread carries the full range. Corky will never stop being Corky. Corky is always just waiting to get out again, despite how reserved Nick is trying to be at the moment. But also, I've long thought the eventual endgame for Corky would be to try to be a cult leader and you guys touch on that too.

He just won't ever, cause he has no charisma and loves to wallow in self-pity. Like, what cult leader have you met that has as many woe-is-me videos up? Does that work on anyone except desperate fat chicks?

I mean, I do fine-ish and I often find life gruelling. The shit he go through to simultaneously survive and maintain his ego.

Fuck this guy. He was given EVERY benefit of the doubt. When he was having his major problems with Happy Cabbie, even people who weren't on his side donated money so he could move out.

When he pretended to be homeless and starving, people donated money. He has lived off of people treating him like a human being in need when he was actually being a scammy, grifter shithead and he deserves not an ounce of pity or symapthy. The shit he pulled with real estate fraud was vile in the extreme.

This wasn't taking some property that some bank was using as a tax dodge and fucking over people that he then somehow re-claimed and gave back to deserving folk...he stole property from the rightful probate owners from DEAD PEOPLE, one of whom was an elderly woman. He can go fucking die in a ditch somewhere. It's too...TOO late for him to pull the sympathy card now.

The guy was apparently, a quiet sort of social outcast once upon a time according to a few accounts. He decided like many to re-invent himself. Except all around him were images of 'Rockstar Assholes' like Activision CEO Robert Kotick, Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, etc. These guys were the Winners(tm). These were the guys you had to be.

So yeah, he became a total piece of shit. And all the bad behaviors we train ourselves to self-analyze and overcome within ourselves... He sorta didn't... Because using people is how you Play the Game. Right, kids?! Except Nick sucks at the Game. And it just makes everybody hate him. And he's not smart enough to not get caught. I think he even hates himself deep down inside. Of course at any time he could step the Hell back and realize this gig realllly isn't working for him.
