Not me. My first impression of Ghostbusters came from the cartoon. When I finally saw the movies I was disappointed that Egon wasn't blond in them.

Chris Chan for some reason grew up on the Filmation Ghostbusters cartoon. When I was a kid I called it The Fake Ghostbusters.

It always confuses me. When I see "Real Ghostbusters" I think of what Cena calls "fake Ghostbusters."

Even as a kid I knew nut riding when I saw it and understood I was just enjoying a reboot.

By the way, I'm three episodes into Supergirl and I like it!

I am a bit tired of the "I'm ready, coach, put me in" speeches, but that's not Supergirl's fault. I've been watching Shield with others and had to endure that speech once for each main character already. Basic watching a new show blues.

Yeah, Supergirl is fun, but the characters making terrible speeches doesn't get better. DC just can't get it right.

Anyways, because ChrisChan prefers Fake Ghostbusters, it was clearly the better of the two shows! Hopefully, with Real Ghostbusters undone by their own hubris, that will clear the way for a long-overdue Fake Ghostbusters revival.

They've totally nailed the tone of Supergirl herself, and to me that is the most important thing. In the comics, DC has more trouble getting that right; fail on that and super-powered Kryptonians are terrifying rather than comforting.

For example, the secret of Hank Henshaw (who, in the comics, arches under the name Cyborg Superman) will get sorted out in just a few episodes, rather than dragging it out until the end of the season.
