It seems New Line has scrubbed the Internet of the original, and Wikipedia claims it was never released, but tons of people remember seeing it on MTV in the 80s and I DEFINITELY saw it on Youtube in the early days of Youtube.

Old_Zircon - 2016-05-24 I distinctly remember the part with him on the phone with Freddy, the part with him watching TV at the beginning, the part with him pulling the blankets up to his chin (him = Will Smith obviously). We didn't have cable when it first aired so I definitely didn't see it on MTV. I saw it on the Internet. But now it's been retconned out of existence.
