Konversekid - 2016-06-07 Because of a group that I work with that is organizing against carding and police violence in Saskatoon are actively exposing the police, as well as a history of being one of the of the most racist police forces in the country, the Saskatoon police do a ton of stuff like this and get it onto the news so they can up their PR.
This particular video blew up the day after they suggested that they would need more police on the ground for their work despite lowering crime rates and them mostly just aggressively carding Indigenous people, and about two weeks after a bunch of lawyers and academics came out and called their carding practices illegal.

I've been to Saskatoon several times for work and it's one of my favourite cities in Canada, for some reason. It just exudes a really nice vibe.
