Before you folks start mentioning all the stuff that Western Civilization got from the brown-skinned peoples, please note: his initial statement was about "civilization". As in "any civilization".

So right off the bat he's discounting the wealth of art & philosophical thought that has come out of China, the highly sophisticated thought of India (both within theology & more generally), the rich culture & thought of the various African cultures, as well as the highly diverse (and rather cool) cultural products throughout the Americas.

And those are just the civilizations that I have a passing familiarity with. I have a feeling that Australian aborigenes, Papua New Guinea islanders, Tibetans, Mongols, and Tamils (just to name a very few) could all make cases that they too have made significant contributions to their civilizations.
