Hearing Droopy say "Hey blackie!" is all sorts of uncomfortable.

Yeah, I recall growing up and still seeing a lot of the black face gags on old cartoons, but it's even worse to hear the cartoon's hero saying a racial slur. I also hate hearing sports announcers saying racial slurs, that's why I don't like that football team that plays in the D.C. area.

I keep reading the title as "Droopy's Good and Dead". Which is fine by me.

I wonder when these cartoons were censored. I remember seeing this with the "Hey, Blackie" line in the late 1980s, plus the Bugs Bunny shorts with the racist Japanese caricatures and the Sambo kid.
