Orcs

EvilHomer - 2016-07-25

Hey SolRo, I've been wondering something. If I remember correctly, you are a big Hillary mark. On the other hand, you are ALSO a huge Russia mark.

Given the fact that Russia supports Trump, and their hackers have now fatally torpedoed any chance the Democrats might of had of winning this election, how do you personally reconcile your conflicted loyalties?

Gmork - 2016-07-25

Orcs

Cena_mark - 2016-07-25

Is one starring Orcs' videos really necessary? He didn't even put in trolling tags. I know he's sometimes abrasive, but he's still one of us.

baleen - 2016-07-25

that's a really good question evilhomer.

EvilHomer - 2016-07-25

SolRo and GmOrcs need to watch more cartoons about friendship, I think.

Cena_mark - 2016-07-25

Like Steven Universe.

EvilHomer - 2016-07-25

Steven Universe is just an Obituary ripoff, but sure, they could watch that too if they want.

bongoprophet - 2016-07-26

orcs is racist filth unlike any other seen here. if you need a reminder, here is some things he has done/said:

-refering to black people as dindus
-pushing racist ideas like how muslims have a cultural rape game

and to explain itself:

-saying it was just being racist for satire

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-07-26

This is a really relevant video.

I actually do remember this site being consistently impartial. It's sad to see that breaking down.

Cena_mark - 2016-07-26

I'm aware Orcs has said racist things, but he's not being racist here. He just posted a news clip. He can change like Sunset Glimmer.

EvilHomer - 2016-07-26

"Dindus"? What the hell is a "dindu"? I've never even heard of that. Is it even racist?

lotsmoreorcs - 2016-07-26

"posting ideas"? I posted video evidence!

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

Orcs doesn't need to troll anymore. The moment people started one starring Orcs on principle, orcs won. We are now living in a state of permanent trolledness.

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

EH, "Dindu" was briefly popular with 4chan racebaiting trolls a few years ago, although I assume it got there from white supremacist boards or something. I think it was already well out of fashion when Orcs used it.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Dindu

bongoprophet - 2016-07-26

pfft.. what has he won? it's 2016, racism is common as dirt but I can still vote with my stars.

shouldn't someone be pissed about orcs impersonating a dead person or something? There still room on the bandwagon, come along!

SolRo - 2016-07-26

actually if we 1 star all his videos then his videos don't show up.

nothing worse for an attention whore than not being seen.

Scynne - 2016-07-26

Orcs.

F3AR - 2016-08-22

solro, that is not how it works, if 10 million people gave his last video 1 star, but it was the last video ever submitted, it would forever be the first video youd see when you came to poetv.com

starring videos does nothing as far as if they can be seen lol

Doc Victor - 2016-07-25

you reap what you sow.

Cena_mark - 2016-07-25

Funny how we expected the GOP to be the divided party, however, they are clearly unified in their hatred of Hillary and fear of scary things.

baleen - 2016-07-25

Sorta. Most Bernie supporters have actually filed behind Hillary, and the GOP really is seriously divided.

The Nate Silver projection that Trump would win if the election were held today was pretty hard to handle, but then Silver has been completely wrong about everythingin this election for the past year. So was I.
Fuck nobody thought Trump would be able to last this long. I know how the German left and moderates must have felt when Hitler was elected. It's like it's so weird it can't actually be happening.

Bort - 2016-07-25

The Bernie-Or-Bust crowd probably weren't Democrats to begin with; they were likely the sort of people who bitch constantly but never deign to get their hands dirty with (ugh) politics.

I'm not too worried about Nate Silver prediction, because it's coming after a week of more or less positive Trump coverage (as positive as it gets) without holding his feet to the fire. I still figure there are hard limits on how much support Trump can possibly get, and some of the demographics he's pissed off (such as black women) vote pretty hard. Additionally, the campaign against Trump has not even started in earnest ... and when it comes to an Obama vs. Trump battle of style and charisma, Trump loses hard every time. Just a reminder:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8TwRmX6zs4

EvilHomer - 2016-07-25

Yeah, TONS of dirt with Hillary. Can't imagine why people wouldn't be willing to "dirty their hands" supporting a neo-con unindicted war-criminal who leaks classified documents, boot-licks for Big Finance, and threatens to nuke Iran. Especially now that Julian Assange (himself a victim of Hillary's Big Brother crusade against whistleblowers) revealed what most people have suspected all along - that the DNC was secretly colluding with the corporate media establishment they own, in order to promote Hillary and stab Bernie in the back.

Why Bern Bros wouldn't sell out and start mooing praises for the Forces of Evil is beyond me!

Bort - 2016-07-26

The problem, EH, is that your trolling sounds exactly like the Bernie-or-Busters' most heartfelt convictions about how evil Hillary is. I don't think you're trolling today, unfortunately.

SolRo - 2016-07-26

Homer is trolling every day. I don't think he even knows how not to troll anymore.

He's become institutionalized to the Internet.

One day someone will find a gif of his hanging corpse on a run down message board with a color changing "Homer was here" above it (in comic sans)

EvilHomer - 2016-07-26

And your trolling sounds exactly like the Hillary-or-Deathers' most heartfelt convictions about how Hillary (despite all evidence to the contrary) is the Only Choice We've Got, apparently for no reason other than she's got a (D) next to her name.

The problem, Mr Bort, is that Hillary is EXACTLY the sort of monster that Bernie, Trump, Putin, Assange, Obama 2008, and even her own husband have painted her as. All the evidence supports this, and it keeps getting worse day by day. Now, for most people - especially young people, who aren't used to having the TV do their thinking for them - their blind partisan loyalty only goes so far. Most people, you keep shoveling shit into their mouths, and sooner or later, they're going to tell you to stop.

It's a shame, it really is, that we are going to have a big bad Republican president soon. But come on, Bort, you're an intelligent guy: be honest with yourself. You cannot blame "those darn Bernie supporters" for this turn of fortune. Bernie's not spent eight years terrorizing and antagonizing the entire non-NATO World. He's not been shmoozing hard to try and land a sweet job with the World Bank. He's not violated his security clearance in a manner that would have landed anyone else in Leavenworth, only to get off scott-free, because fuck equality before the law, he's Important. And he's not *just been caught manipulating the supposedly free press in an attempt to push lies and swing elections*. It's not Bernie's fault. It really, really isn't. The truth is, if Hillary wasn't such a scumbag and the DNC not such a pack of bloated, complicit weasels, it would never have come to this.

Versailles has been burned to the ground, and the Jacobins are coming for the survivors.

EvilHomer - 2016-07-26

Hey SolRo, question. Above. How do you reconcile your conflicted loyalties? Do you just try and ignore it, and hope reality will eventually go away?

Void 71 - 2016-07-26

I'd wager that a sizeable portion of Bernie Bros and union Democrats are riding the Trump Train even if they're too embarrassed to admit it in polite company - especially now that it has been confirmed that the leadership of the Democrat party conspired against the only candidate who addressed their concerns. The argument I commonly see Hillary supporters use against Bernie is that he's heavy on rhetoric and short on solutions, but at least he isn't an open globalist who cavorts with the likes of Henry Kissinger and George Soros.

Anaxagoras - 2016-07-26

One of the things I want to do before I die is to cavort with someone. It's always sounded like a lot of fun; I imagine a field of sunflowers, or maybe poppies, and just me and my co-cavorter cavorting away in the middle.

Oscar Wildcat - 2016-07-26

I'll admit: the notion of a half naked Kissinger dancing about in my rose bushes is an appealing one. If only because I know what a job those devils do on the flesh when one skips wearing the gauntlet gloves.

memedumpster - 2016-07-26

I had no idea until I just looked it up that cavorting, by definition, involves dancing, that is awesome!

I have not cavorted nearly enough.

Oh yeah, remember, #Demexit is the 29th, don't forget to reregister as a non-sectarian voter. Secularism will thank you.

Doc Victor - 2016-07-26

Bort, does David Brock pay you by the word or by the post? What in the blue fuck made him decide this place would be in any way relevant or influential? Is there any way I can still get in on some more of that sweet action? Do he and Assange go to the same hairdresser?

Bort - 2016-07-26

"the leadership of the Democrat party conspired"

No they didn't. One guy floated an idea that wasn't acted on. If your boy is so fragile that even private discussions are enough to sink his candidacy, he never had any business running for the presidency.

Now when Jane is led away in cuffs for bank fraud, will you call that conspiracy too?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-07-26

I absolutely despise Hillary. A list of her accomplishments:

* Interfering with Haiti's attempts to raise minimum wage so that US corporations could pay people there 20 cents an hour.

* Going along with Bill's genocide of 500,000 children in Iraq by denying the country medical supplies.

* Being on the Board of Directors of Walmart (she was quoted as saying she didn't bring up workers rights because it wouldn't have gone over well. Thanks, Hill!)

* Iraq War. Afghanistan. Libya. Yemen. Syria. Drone strikes that wind up killing children. All okay.

* Approving money going to South Sudan, Libya, and Yemen knowing full well the money would partly go towards the conscription of child soldiers which she approved with waivers. Motherfucking child soldier war crimes waivers.

* Declaring war on Bernie's campaign with the full collusion of the DNC

* Various forms of election fraud in many states where Bernie supporters were conveniently not registered suddenly

* She has been pushing for the Cold War with Russia. She has been strangely proud of wanting to go to war with Iran.

* Her grandma outfits

* Colluding with Obama to destroy Libya's chances of having a democracy. Same with Egypt.

* Goldman Sachs shill

* No seriously. Fuck Goldman Sachs.

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

I am consistently inspired by with EH's commitment to subtlety and excellence in trolling.

Spaceman Africa - 2016-07-26

Bort I don't know how you can wave off the DNC emails when it shows that most of the convention's top brass were colluding together and not "one guy". Also "private discussions"? Are you a fucking idiot or just a total bootlicker?

Bort - 2016-07-26

Show me the specific actions they committed as a result of this "collusion". Oh you can't point to anything, you? The main thing the emails show that DNC officials think Bernie and his followers are a pain in the ass ... and they're right about that incidentally. Not even pains in the "truth to power" sort of way that Bernie supporters picture themselves, but the sort of privileged asshats who are fine with shouting down civil rights figures who have had to overcome genuine obstacles in their lives.

cognitivedissonance - 2016-07-25

I am pretty much resigned to a Trumpreich. The arc of history has bent toward this.

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

The DNC is sure doing everything in their power to put him in office.

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

I recently heard some Internet pundit or other make the interesting point, though, that the GOP would be much happier with business as usual Republican Pence as president, and if there's one thing the two major parties could really put aside their differences for it's impeaching Trump, so there's the very real possibility that Trump gets elected, poisons the supreme court (that's the worrying part about all this) and then is quickly impeached without a bit of hassle as soon as he inevitably gets caught committing an impeachable offense.

It's an interesting point I hadn't thought of.

And, I mean, I'd certainly rather have Clinton than Pence but the differences between the two are pretty minor compared to Clinton vs. Trump (or Sanders for that matter).

Old_Zircon - 2016-07-26

Just in general, this would be a pretty reasonable if not especially inspiring race if it were just between the two VP candidates.

15th - 2016-07-25

Attempting to silence dissent with a moment of rememberance for a shooting is really, really classy.

kamlem - 2016-07-26

It really is.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-07-26

She can always take up a career in trying to steal the youth from princesses.

Ninehells - 2016-07-26

This is America, godamnit. I want right proper villains in the Whitehouse, not an aging cabana boy or Paula Deen's little sister.

chumbucket - 2016-07-26

I just don't see ANY efforts on the part of the Clinton campaign to pull in Sanders support base. Instead we get wingnuts like this who ignore them and just insists the DNC unite hell or high water. Morals, ideals, perspectives and individual choice be damned. "Just vote for Hillary and everything will be OK". What a lazy method to garner votes.

Bort - 2016-07-26

When we Hillary supporters show Sanders supporters Hillary's platform and how it's got plenty of material similar to Sanders', that's all just a con on Hillary's part so none of it is to be trusted. When we point to Hillary's record of voting for exactly the sorts of things Bernie supporters claim to want, the eternal rebuttal is "Iraq authorization" which apparently invalidates everything else.

Please tell me what form of persuasion you think Bernie supporters might be amenable to. Since they're pooping their Pampers over Bernie himself trying to persuade them -- to the point of conspiracy theories where Hillary is threatening his family -- I'd say there is no winning them over, period.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-07-26

You support Hillary over Bernie and you think I'm racist? Pbbth. Look up what she did in Haiti sometime.

Bitch, please. Hillary only adopted some of Bernie's platform, VERY GRUDGINGLY because she was desperate to court his base because SHOCKINGLY they want more than she was willing to offer.

Because she will give nothing but more of the status quo. It's what she has always done.

Bort - 2016-07-26

Yeah I think you're a racist piece of shit. Anyone who cavalierly dismisses Trayvon Martin's murder because "eh, he was probably going to murder someone someday anyway" is a walking trash fire.

But you've given me your answer, there's nothing Hillary can do to win your support, so there's no point in even trying.

Spaceman Africa - 2016-07-26

I assume Bernie supporters will be even less likely to support Hillary y'know after all those DNC emails were released.

chumbucket - 2016-07-27

I'm just not seeing the "show Sanders supporters Hillary's platform and how it's got plenty of material similar to Sanders'". Part of it might just be the overall divisiveness between the two camps and only choosing to selectively see or point out the negatives on both sides instead of seeking any level of congruity. Sad really.

namtar - 2016-07-26

Hillary and DWS are complete shit.

15th - 2016-07-26

Hillary is the only choice, Hillary has always been the only choice.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-07-26

Hilary is a Shilary.
