yes, it is still really bad CGI.

FWIW, Boss Films here in Marina del Rey did the Visual effects for that movie AS they were going out of business, or maybe they went out of business because of it? I can't remember, but I did go to their bankruptcy auction and DO remember wondering who the fuck was going to buy those huge, ancient optical printers they had laying around, not to mention all the Indigo II's and broken Aeron chairs.

The only thing I remember about this movie is the girl I asked to go watch it with me who said yes at first but then changed her mind. High school is rough.

I'd love for someone to fix this scene. Air Force One was a good movie, but this shot is horrible and always takes you out of the moment. They need to give a just a little George Lucas magic.

Otherwise, this is hands down the worse CGI I've ever seen in a mainstream multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster. Before this I would have said The Golden Compass, but this is way worse. This is so bad, The Asylum's cg work would give it a run for its money.

Oh yeah, I was taking a swipe at Prometheus, this is way worse.

They put a lot of work into the water and smoke (except the parts the plane touches) to hide that Last Starfighter looking airplane.

If you want the worst CGI go watch the last Brosnan Bond film, with the ice villain lair...he drives some ice sled off a cliff and the CGI literally glitches mid-air and they went to print with it....and didn't even care to fix any time afterwards.
