One of the things I remember the most about this movie is the effects they used to depict Saturn's rings. It's one of the most novel and visually interesting ways I've ever seen Saturn's rings depicted in a movie.

The other thing I remember is the poor dope that Keitel messily kills at the beginning of the movie with an airlock.

That kill, while cool looking, made very little sense. Why was there an airlock port in what appeared to be a locker room?

Caminante Nocturno - 2016-08-15
Look, I've installed airlocks, and I've installed sprinkler systems, and if I can get away with installing the former over the latter, as long as I'm not going to be working there, that's what I'm going to do.

Even if we accept the conceit of a locker room with an airlock for a roof, what in Hell were those slicey cables installed there for?

I recall my only motivation to see this movie was Fawcett.

This movie had all the right ingredients. Too bad the chef didn't prepare it properly.

It still managed to be fun, though.
