This woman is Zarna Joshi, a professional idiot/protestor in Seattle, a city I spent some time in during a sojourn in the PNW some time ago and keep tabs on. She's part of the boom Seattle has experienced of do-gooder dumbasses who do far more harm than good and are too thoroughly brainwashed and nuts to be rational about anything.
Seattle is experiencing among other things a surge in property and drug crimes, what with another boom in the "homeless" - these aren't unfortunate derelicts or mentally ill transients or people getting to experience homelessness due to being down on their luck, these are people who routinely refuse social welfare and prefer their "lifestyle" of being street urchins and demanding handouts, these are seriously people who moved to Seattle to prey on the kindness and ignorance of others.
The technology boom in Seattle has been so rapid and absurd that it's become a bit of a Gold Rush and the landlords want to get in early and screw everyone as hard as they can, because someone who's making 0k a year doesn't care too much about having to pay 00 a month for a studio apartment. Because of this, many Seattle residents, including retirees who have lived there their whole lives, are being evicted from their homes because their pensions can't afford the sky-high rent increases.
To top this off, the professional do-gooder class and grifters have swarmed to Seattle like wasps around a jar of jam left open on a picnic table, drawn by the scent of Big Money, come to do the Heroic Work of staging protests, like blocking bus lanes at peak transit hours (keeping many "people of color" from reaching their workplaces or homes on a weekly basis) in protest of anything ever involving the insignificant amount of police Seattle has for it's new population density.
What led to this video was that quite a few people think Seattle is in need of more Law Enforcement Officers. What with the boom in population and all the PD simply doesn't have the personnel to answer a large number of emergency calls and many laws are broken and not at all enforced. Police response time has reached highs for most calls. The PD has attempted to prioritize based on threat levels, so anything that doesn't involve a weapon is extremely low, so it'll take awhile for the police to response to car crashes, fistfights, stalkers, harassment, etc.
Part of the plan for expanding the police force was to create a newer, bigger police station in North Seattle, which would cover downtown as well as some of the more populated neighborhoods in the city. The current Seattle police station serves 40% of the population and is overcrowded by hundreds of staff members and the staff needs more space, especially if the city is going to hire more police officers to make up for the population boom.
Some people amongst the do-gooder set didn't care for this, of course. They chose to express themselves at city council meetings via screeching, screaming and crying about "white supremacy" at a meeting overseen by the current City Council President, who is of course a notorious white supremacist.

So, we have a man here being interviewed by the local news who was in support of the new police station and Ms. Joshi decides to rush over and get all up in his area about being a "token person of color". After her spaz fit in the wake of this man's daring to answer her in a less than respectful fashion, she later took to social media to cry that she was worried the Seattle PD was going to try to assassinate her. She's a shitty person, basically.

There are a lot of really good people that have been left in the wake of her destructive path. Seattle was built by the Knights of Labor (see The Seattle Riot of 1886) and the Wobblies. If you think a woman screaming at a fat guy is a sign of the end times, you need to read more about Seattle's history as city of LEFTWING REBELS AND LABORERS. I was fortunate enough to have a very amazing history teacher: Joe Szwaja. He's the guy who introduced me to Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn, and the idea that there were alternate histories.
There have always been crazy people in Seattle. However, if you dip into the history of African American communities in this town, you'll see a long history of getting fucked in the ass and left out to dry. Growing up in Columbia City (nowhere near the happy yuppy enclave it is now), I certainly didn't see it that way, and I am not proud to say that it turned me into a racist. When I learned why things were the way they were, it made me angry. I began to understand the anger and the pain and the lack of education and high unemployment and everything else.
And I remember the militarization of downtown Seattle, the WTO riots, where pregnant women were getting gassed even if they had nothing to do with anything.
This woman is clearly mentally ill, at least in my view. Something bad happened to her. She was damaged.
The most tragic thing about Seattle being overrun by the boring techbro class, asides from rent literally going up 33% in 3 years, is that its history is being rewritten by outsiders who see homeless people as champagne hoboes. A percentage of them are oogles, sure, but Seattle has always had very high marks when it comes to treatment of the homeless and I have actually always been pretty proud of that.
