On fuckin Mars, man
The American south east could certainly stand some more densely populated cities. I'm lookin' at you Atlanta.
We could but the poor land quality, lack of jobs, and rampant poverty all seemed to be factors that ruled us out.

Also, much of the part of Louisiana they highlighted just isn't there anymore due to erosion from dredging for the oil industry.

So he calls the video "Where to put the next billion people" and then he doesn't tell us where to put them???!?

I have an idea: re-title it "I don't know where to put the next billion people", and be honest with us for once!!!

/grumpy local news op-ed guy
The video presented viable regions, it's not going to make the call. As I pointed out in the comment above, the American south east fits the bill. I'd love to see southern cities like Atlanta and Charlotte become less sprawled and more like REAL cities like NYC and Philly.

The last thing we need is more cities like NYC.

This video contains parts of the world I don't like!

^ Gmork is doing this because I don't like Star Wars, so he's 1-starring other people's videos for no reason.

Or, y'know--let women control their own uteruses.

I can't decide if this needs a "malthusian nightmare of the future" tag or "malthusian nightmare of the present"...
It's densely populated and had decent public transportatiohn. That makes it better for the environment than sprawl cities like LA, Atlanta, and Houston, where more land is used up per person, everyone has to drive everywhere, and tons of water and land is used up for big lawns and poorly planned subdivisions.
You put them in whatever grave makes the rich the most money.

We have a foreign policy for a reason, people.
I was hoping the mass cullings/famines/disasters wouldn't start until after my natural lifetime, but 2030 is coming up...
