This and No Country For Old Men came out around the same time. I immediately fell in love with NCFOM, but this one took a while to grow on me, like a slow burn.
Great filmmaking, for sure, and I *LOVE* Daniels last words here.
I really can't stand proslytizing types so I was on Daniel's side from the get-go, regardless of what a psycho he might be.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-10-11 Maybe now that I'm older and wiser I should re-watch No Country For Old Men. I watched it when it was new and I thought it was borrrrriiiinnnnnnnngggggggg.

fedex - 2016-10-12 Maybe you should!
Anton Chigurh is still one of the best bad guys ever, and that scene with Tommy Lee Jones where they are both looking at the reflections in the door lock still sends shivers up my spine.

This scene wouldn't make the movie worse, really, just a little more overt.
