Once upon a time in the days of yore circa 1990, there was a terrible terrible Captain America movie.

A particularly stupid moment in that movie is when Captain America carjacks a guy. Not only is it stupid for being something he wouldn't do (like Batman or Superman randomly killing people), but it's also stupid for the roundabout goober way in which he does it.

The car he steals is a Volkswagon. Also, this is not the first reference to the 1990 scene in Captain's appearances. I think it was in Winter Soldier where he and Black Widow steal a car, and she says "where did you learn to steal a car?" and he shoots her a goober look.
