William Hanna and Joseph Barbera were such cheap motherfuckers they didn't even bother to animate themselves in their sales pitch.

Don't forget "enhancing" the show with photographed backgrounds instead of just painting one.

Joe was an obsessive clean freak who had a deluxe shower in his office so he could sanitize himself after dealing with his own employees. He took several showers a day and suffered from psoriasis due to it.

Allegedly, this is on the high end animation-wise for a Hanna-Barbera pilot presentation (http://www.newsfromme.com/2016/10/29/todays-video-link-2371/). I'm surprised HB went to this much effort when Joe Barbera could feasibly point at Flintstones and Scooby-Doo, say "here's our ripoff of today's hot sitcoms, come on, you'll make gobs of money", and then go into a run cycle to chase off Lou Scheimer.

What Mother Lumper said- and that's worth 5 stars. Also, I would have bet $50 bucks that "didn't sell" meant racial mixing in a cartoon in 1971.

"a few pleasant and exciting moments"

At least the van isn't sentient.

They were saving that reveal for the 1st season finale. Duffy invented a talking, transforming RV to compensate for the fact that his dick doesn't work. Now he and his group of war orphans are on the run from the DoD, who believe he wants to sell the technology to the Reds.

It's obvious to everyone else that Alan and Barbie are fucking, right?

Well, the internet has conditioned me to check the validity of Rule 34 for this sort of thing.

Strangely enough, Rule 34 is not being followed. Looking for artists to enforce Rule 35.

That is a montage of constant child endangerment.

Don't know if it's a ripoff from some live show out at the time, but with with the Sheepdog, I'd vote for it being like Please Don't Eat The Daisies.
