This has been going viral, and it makes me really suspicious.
Trump is somewhat anti-vaccine, a fact I didn't know about him because I kind of tried to pretend he didn't exist for a while.
I fear for the attitude toward the sciences under this Administration more than any of his other policy platforms. I'm still in denial.
Like many of you I'm tracking the vote recount stuff, hoping that he'll be challenged in Florida where Clinton had a massive early voting lead over Trump.
Eagerly I hope that more than 7 GOP electors defect from their ranks and vote Clinton.
But we know that it's happening. It's going to be our reality, just like Berlusconi was Italy's reality for 11 years. The only way I can see him holding on to power is if he starts building things in rural white places. How else can he maintain this triumph of the angry? And how can the GOP start signing checks when they've been so adamantly opposed to the "tax burdens" of infrastructure? for 8 years?
How much power can xenophobia wield over people who don't have anything? At some point he has to start the socialist part of his national socialism. How should we react to that?
As much as I dislike Trump, I fear the precedent of having enough electors ditch their pledges to give Hillary a victory will set even more.
If you look at which states have Faithless Elector laws, how many electors she actually would need, and which states would likely never flip in favor of a democrat... It would require the collusion of electors from several states. It would seriously undermine what fairness there is in our elections without addressing at all how to fix it.
That, and it's the GOP's wet dream for the public to accept the normalization of defecting electors.
The idea that the elite could force this election to go their way is precisely the kind of thing that tipped the scales for Trump.
Give them what they asked for. In the meantime, the rest of us should be focusing on providing a leftist alternative that puts a greater emphasis on economic justice than he/she does on bourgeois moralizing and semantics.
Erst kommt das Fressen, dann kommt die Moral.

Oh wow. So what if he is? Does he really need the internet telling him that he is? Jesus, oppose trump but don't take it out on his 10 year old kid.
Imagine him watching this when he's 20 when he's all coked up and secretary of state.
Let's leave the child out of it. Trump's adult man-children are fair game.
Barron should be off limits, like all presidents' minor children. Tiffany is still in her 'young and dumb' phase. The oldest 3 are more than enough fodder for harassment.
