That looks awesome.

the music sucks, but the little kid from the 80's still trapped inside of me wants it so bad.

If you hadn't submitted this video, I think I'd have gone the rest of my life without remembering that these existed. It's not like, in casual conversation, people suddenly blurt out "Hey, you remember pocket rockers?" And yet, whatever frail synapses in my head are storing that vague memory were brought roaring back as I watched this. Memory is a funny thing.

I hd forgotten all about these. I never had one, I just had cassettes well into the mid 90s.

I'm not even sure I ever remembered these.

I definitely saw this commercial but I never saw one of the actual things I don't think, and I'd forgotten all about them until I saw this.

I missed out on this. Nostalgic frown.
Sputum - 2016-12-02
Haha oh man, these things are astronomically expensive on ebay.
Xenocide - 2016-12-03
The narration had to be recorded separately from the rest of the ad, as teen girls kept fainting with desire at the mention of Phil Collins' name.
Old_Zircon - 2016-12-03
For a while back in the 90s a few of us referred to him as "Phil Colons"

It's worth noting that I saw the guy who coined it make out in public with more men than anyone I knew who actually identified as gay.

Actually that's true of quite a few hetero guys I've known, get a few beers in them and they'll be deep kissing anyone who's willing, regardless of sex.
