Here are a few ways you could have written that OP, so as to remove the ambiguity and better convey your intended meaning:

"Awaiting maladjusted douchebag's response to this, my current comment."
"Awaiting the response of a maladjusted douchebag who is not myself."
"Waugh is, in my opinion, a maldajusted douchebag, and I am awaiting his response."
"I do not like Waugh."

Any of those would have worked better than what you actually said.
