My family's miniature dachshund tried to pick fights with my stepfamily's lab/doberman mix, never realizing that he was way overpowered by a dog several times his size. He was the most ill-behaved dog my family ever had, and I still miss him.
Dachshunds were bred to hunt and kill badgers in their burrows, so I'm not surprised they're scrappy. ("Dachs" = German for "badger")
My dachshund is so headstrong and has a will all his own. The more you demand of him, the more likely he is to disobey you outright. I love him to death.
Oh, the lion loves weiner dogs...I thought this was going to turn out different.
