The irony of course is that Android 16 IS a Nazi, and it's Cell who punches him in the head with his foot.
Also, "Android 16" is a linkable tag. I'm just sayin'.
He's not a nazi, he's an android. In a cartoon.

Android 16 was programmed to be a nazi. He had no choice. And yet, he bucked his programming to become a defender of life.
Also, I fixed the tags. I left out "punch Nazi faces", too.

Fucking autocorrect! Stop capitalizing "nazi". They don't fucking deserve it!
Also, if Team Four Star is to be trusted ... well, maybe you'd better see for yourself:
Word of God from Toriyama is that Goku wasn't directly related to Gero's son's death, as Gero's son (who was the physical basis of 16) was killed by an enemy bullet. But regardless, yeah, 16 basically only was programmed to hate Goku, but was peaceful towards all other forms of life.
True, it's not canon. But I like it all the same; Gero Jr. didn't seem to be a bad sort and he was even into birds in life.

He fought with Reddits?

The subbed version is so much better, if only because there is far less talking and a great song as opposed to overexplaining the point and fists smashing into a synthesizer. 16's speech is also woefully mistranslated.
But the whole scene is a moot point now. This used to be the epic turning point where Gohan was handed the series, but Toriyama/Toei shoved him out of the way for Goku again. Then in "Super" Gohan gets to settle down and be the nerd he always wanted because no one is forcing him to fight anymore.
I liked Gohan in his Saiyaman phase, but to me that was appropriate to the character: he PLAYS at being the hero and he's good in a fight, but saving the planet / galaxy / whatever is really his dad's whole deal.
