I had an idea for a satirical film.
Its like 'Idiocracy' but instead of a dystopia it depicts a utopia. One run on Randian / open carry / sovereign citizen / etc. principles. Everyone is perfectly polite and everything works really efficiently.
It could be really funny!

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2017-02-08 The idea is its like this perfect utopia, but obviously highly unrealistic, to the point of ridiculousness. Thats the main gag, showcase how stupid these ideals are by actually showing what various nutjobs expect it to be like.

For me, these clips are the best. Watching these deluded fools charge into a police station loaded with guns and body armor, then the predictable results. And the genius part is _they_ are in the right. A huge amount of political capital has been expended over the years to ensure what they are doing is technically legal in the US.
That said, as performance art, this stuff is terrific. Unintentional perhaps, but no less brilliant. "I'd like to lodge a complaint." "I'll take your complaint in a minute sir, we have a police situation on our hands here!". Just brilliant.

That really is the kicker, isn't it? Hopefully Act II will be a tax payer funded, drawn-out legal battle against the police department and/or state that goes to the Supreme Court.

We had one of these guys in my town recently, walking up and down the streets, hoping a cop would say something. Cop stopped him, explained that, while yes, it was legal, that there was a little thing called disturbing the peace, and with so many calls about a scrawny white guy with a rifle walking around downtown, the peace had been well and truly disturbed.
