I really liked his work on the Galactica remake as well. He made a pretty convincing manipulative politician.

Wait. Is this show -- good?

According to 10 year old me, it was awesome.

The concept, at least, was pretty good. It was strongly implied that the Galactica reached earth in the distant past and inspired the legends of the Middle East and Greece: Apollo riding his chariot across the sky, Adam(a) as the first man, Iblis as the embodiment of evil, and so on.

(The opening credits narration -- delivered by Count Iblis for reasons unexplained -- suggested that the show takes place in the present, but I felt the names of the characters told a different tale. And indeed the Galactica officially reached earth in 1980, so I guess that settles that. But it doesn't explain why the character names tracked with mythological roles.)
