Old people who have been on TV forever, just get older. In your head it's nothing you didn't know, but you don't always think about it because you get used to them always being there.
Stan Lee is probably not going to make it too many more years; he's 94.
Patrick Stewart started as Jean-Luc Picard 30 years ago, at the age of 47. He'll turn 77 this year -- still young enough that he might have another decade or so, or he might not.
Anyone who was in a TV show in the 1970s (for example Bob Newhart), they're probably in their 70s or 80s now.
Let's not even think about classic rock: the Rolling Stones, the surviving Beatles (Paul / Ringo / Pete), Bee Gee, Palmer ... even Steven Tyler, on the young end of all that, is 68.
