The Mothership Portland, OR, c.1996. Laser Floyd, Laser Zeppelin and Laser Alice in Chains were the absolute shit amongst my fellow high schoolers with cars. Laser Beatles not so much.
cognitivedissonance The one at Pacific Science Center had a "sampler mode", where you could see one song from every show they offered. I saw all samples of all listed above.
Scrimmjob Stoner friends dragged me to the Pink Floyd one in high school. Even while high it was pretty dull.
Oscar Wildcat Laser Floyd, of course. And where else but the Hayden?
badideasinaction My parents took me to see Laser Beatles. Oddly enough I saw Laser The Wall on a school field trip in grade 5. Pretty sure the teachers really wanted to see it when we traveled to some US museum so they just brought the entire class with them. We all liked the part about not needing education.
Old_Zircon I also saw one of these on a school field trip I think.
Came very close to seeing Laser Zeppelin back in 2001, but when it came down to wire we unanimously decided that we weren't even close to sober enough to navigate our way across town on the subway without getting lost.
infinite zest Heh I used to work next door to OMSI at the Opera and between that bridge they just build and some big underwater hole doing anything besides drink a beer in OMSI's parking lot was pretty much impossible without a car. They also had really expensive shitty museum food but I'd just loiter and kill time. Eventually I became close with them and had a nice little Free Opera for Museum admission deal going. Didn't see a Laser Rock show, though. I got kinda burnt out on that stuff when I realized WinAmp has visualizations sometime around when Aphex Twin's Drukqs came out. Plus I hate the Beatles and Pink Floyd.
