It's confusing that he won't stick to a point. As near as I can piece this together America's main problems according to John Wayne are politicians caring how minorities vote, Minorities sometimes use hyphens to talk about their culture, complaining, women destroying the matriarchy by destroying John Wayne's feeling of pride when tipping his hat and opening doors, people wanting to feed the poor or maybe hungry people shouldn't complain? If I'm pulling together anything resembling a core here it's that America is starting to suck because John Wayne feels guilty and uncomfortable about his guilt.
It's like he's realizing his nationalism and pride in his heritage is rooted in sinister places, but he is unable to admit it because he's been America's whitebread cultural hero.
