I want to make fun of them, but I'm jealous that I don't love anything as much as they love Garfield.

Lately someone has been spraypainting really badly drawn Garfields onto the backs of billboards in my neighborhood.


I'm all for it.

Garfield and Long Island, two terrible things that deserve each other.

It's a shame that they didn't call this the Garfielding.

Shit I thought this was gonna be a gathering of the Long Island Garfield family.

Apparently they've been holding this event for at least 11 years now, and for some reason it's always in a different state.

The 2017 Garfield Gathering is going to be this June in Asheville, NC. That's actually not that far from me. I kind of want to go just so I can record things and then post the video here.

Long Island is just minutes from NYC.

I like how this turned into a tourism video that had almost nothing to do with the Garfield con.
