Dana Hill plays Marvin. Hill mostly played/voiced children and teenagers due to diabetes complications until she died in 1996, when she was 32.

At least Hill balanced out her Marvins with stuff like Duckman. She was the initial choice for Nelson Muntz, but missed the recording session. Hill's life is a hell of a lot more worthy of an animated pilot than Garfieldbaby.

Calvin's relationship with his father was endearing because whatever he could shovel out, his father could turn around on him. Calvin's father just messed with him a lot of the time. And he had genuine love for his father, and was afraid of his father getting too angry with him for losing his things, etc. Calvin was a well rounded character.

This baby is a fucking psychopathic demon and should be given to a Catholic orphanage.

The creator was the same guy who created Baby Blues, but he registered it with the syndicate with a writer, and due to internal bureaucracy, he wasn't allowed to reclaim the ownership of the comic. So he just took exactly the same comic, moved it over to Baby Blues, and wound up with a longer running, but nevertheless just as awful, early Adult Swim show.
