I miss the classic CWC days of stalking women at the mall, drawing that ridiculous comic, displaying the Attraction Sign, etc.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2017-04-21

Me too. I really don't like being on the other side of the singularity with the Chanster.

Maggot Brain - 2017-04-22

I've said this before but could make a living for him self if he just went back to writing the comic but we all know that is not going to happen.

Nikon - 2017-04-22

That's an interesting point - if he set up a patreon for his comic there are enough people who'd buy into it as long as he kept producing new pages. Sure, some/most/all of the people would be trolls laughing at it but at this point he needs to embrace that. Tommy Wiseau did something similar when people loved THE ROOM as unintentional comedy instead of high tragedy. The only danger would be SEGA stepping in and telling him to stop trying to make money off their IP.

Oh man, you mean the buyer is never going to see that Sonic totem and now his fans should bail him out again even though it's getting increasingly more difficult to believe that they'll ever get their purchases?

Who could have possibly predicted this!?

Hopefully he's not dumb enough to spend any of that $25k, but at this point that seems like kind of an unreasonable expectation from him.

Redford - 2017-04-21

Unfortunately at this point a number of things have been discovered.

1. The reason that Chris didn't get paid may be related to the fact that he refused to ship the item, which resulted in the person being able to withdraw their bid.

2. In finding the shirt, he opened up a large number of bags full of laundry which had been wet and rotting for years. The medical ramification of this may be severe - people are wondering if he's infested his own lungs with toxic black mold spores.

3. Even if he manages to "sell" the shirt, his chances of "restoring" it may end up destroying it instead. The bids are already piling up, mostly from trolls...

Sexy Duck Cop - 2017-04-21

What do you mean by $25k? I haven't heard of this.

Redford: Did we ever really believe that person was ever going to come through? It's incredibly easy to back out of an ebay bid, and they had to have known Chris would run out and buy $1600 worth of Optimus Prime Japanese sex pillows the second the auction ended.

On the plus side, he seems to have learned his lesson this time, by which I mean he feebly begged his bidders not to trick him again.

Redford - 2017-04-21

He also insisted that he receive the money from the action before he spends a portion of it "restoring" the shirt.

The problem is that this is likely going to fail because the shit is in terrible condition and if he somehow manages to get money for the shirt, and then destroys it, whoever bought it is just going to be out of a ton of money.

Monkey Napoleon - 2017-04-22

$25k is what the shirt is bid up to, 1:30 from auction close.

I assume this is a troll who is either going to withdraw their bid at the last minute, or actually pay it somehow only to reverse the charges later just fuck with Chris even more.

Redford - 2017-04-22

Supposedly the person who bought the totem both received it and posted positive feedback on it by this point.

Redford - 2017-04-22

The buyer posted images of the totem in his house. He has no intent to destroy it, and the money has been released to Chris.

What.

I am inexplicably angry this worked out for Chris, because it'll only prolong the Sellout Saga from reaching its inevitable conclusion: Chris attempting to sell something of his for 1 quadrillion dollars, a troll "buying" it, and Chris literally spending all of the money in the world before the buyer backcharges it.

Strap in, SDC, because the shirt auction ended at $25,100.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2017-04-22

"Captain's Log, Stardate 05012017: *sigh* Well you, well I hope ya'll are happy with yourselves...I told ya'll, straightforward, in my video entitled called " Live Game Stream - C-Log 04192017 - The Shirt", NO. TRICKS. But one of the trolls bought my dad's stamp collection for 1.8 trillion dollars, so I went out and bought up a significant portion of the national debt because I thought I could leverage it against tdneiserP Pmurt (spelled backwards to show how BACKWARDS he is) in the upcoming government shutdown. *sighs, looks away, nervously pulls on hair* And now I owe China 2.1 trillion dollars.

So anyway, I am now selling my father's ashes for 2.7 trillion dollars. As you can see, it's in a very nice box, that's solid, that's solid tin right there..."

Maggot Brain - 2017-04-21

it's like she's wearing his old skin!

Maggot Brain - 2017-04-21

This is kind like when a famous artist dies and a shady manger gets a hold of the estate and sells off everything and anything of value, only she's doing it to himself.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2017-04-21

Was the Classic shirt always so long on him, or did he somehow manage to get fatter vertically?

dairyqueenlatifah - 2017-04-21

The striped shirt! The medallion! The standing directly mid front of the camera surrounded by toys! The holding the PlayStation controller! It's like a classic CWC video...with a twist!
