Pretty much. By the end the show got very adult at random times, moreso than anything I can think of that's on AS now. Which is of course funny because it was meant to be the more family-friendly lead-in kind of like how AS begins with King of the Hill and Bob's Burgers nowadays. I don't think this is all from the new years' bumps though; the penguin thing was its own episode. But I don't think they've ever re-released that news bump at the end, and probably for all sorts of legal reasons. Good stuff!
