"...Love the suit" was a parting line among my friends for years after this movie initially came out.

Do you ever wonder if, through some magical Rick and Mortyish shennanigans, the Hannibal Lecter Cinematic Universe crosses over into Hannibal Lecter Bryan Fuller Universe and it just gets really uncomfortable? Like HLCU Jack Crawford is spending an unnatural amount of time talking about how he has no problems whatsoever being black in a parallel universe and you normally wouldn't have assumed otherwise but he's talking about it, like, way too much? And HLCU Hannibal turns out to be intensely homophobic and refuses to even look at his HLBF counterparts because "not everyone approves of that way of being up in your face all the time about it you know" and then starts coming up with hypothetical scenarios involving wedding cakes?

.....fuck you. It's been a long, shitty day. Let me have my Hannibal Lecter But Conservative Crossover Fanfic.

I will let you have it as long as you'll grant me my puzzled, vaguely disapproving looks.

Maybe Crawford developed vitiligo and shrunk, explaining the discrepancy between his appearance in the Hannibal TV series and Silence of the Lambs.

Silence of the Lambs was something else. Masterfully done and incredibly entertaining.

Before Silence of the Lambs, I knew Demme for Stop Making Sense, Something Wild, and Spalding Gray's Swimming to Cambodia

Aww man he's dead? I wanted to meet him so I could ask him what happened to Q Lazzarus.

Although infinitely more memorable, the dance for Goodbye Horses wasn't nearly as popular as the Macarena.
