SolRo - 2017-04-28 Actually one punch man really does want to be a hero, but he's an idiotic drama queen and got depressed because he's an unstoppable killing machine instead of a regular 20-episodes-per-fight generic shonen hero.
freedoom - 2017-04-29 I had to binge One Punch Man on netflix after watching the first episode. Great deconstruction of it's genre.
Nominal - 2017-04-29 It was alright. I felt like Kill la Kill did the humorous deconstruction thing better though.
What happened with the end though? Felt like they skipped years of plot and ended on a commercial to buy the comic if you wanted to find out what happens.
Speaking of which...why did it take them over 3 years to release season 2 of Attack on Titan after the season 1 cliffhanger? Fuck it, it'll just turn out to be another disappointing "man is the real monster" Battlestar Galactica mess where half the cast turns out to be secret titans.
Caminante Nocturno - 2017-04-29 So far I'm only up to the second episode of the new Attack on Titan, but that was a Sasha episode and she's the best character.
MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2017-04-29 Remember how DBZ spent an average of 10 episodes per fight, with recaps and dialogue filling in 90% of the time? That's what happens when a show is rushed to production before the author of the source material has even finished writing the next chapter. I'd rather wait for a quality product than have to suffer through a sharp decline in depth or quality.
Nominal - 2017-04-30 Yeah the first season was like that too. One episode was straight out of the DBZ playbook: spending the entire runt time waiting for smoke from a blast to clear while giving pep talks to inspire pep talks to inspire pep talks.
