Five hate stars for Seth MacFarlane.
What a pathetic hack.

I have Family Guy fatigue, but I'm tolerant of most of his other stuff. If he can keep up a /Rad Dwarf/ Airplane! feel, I'm in.
Nobody is worse than Hitler Albuquerque.
...Hitler Phoenix is
Meanwhile, everyone just ignores Mussolini Santa Fe.
Stalin Seattle. Pol Pot Portland.

So... Galaxy Quest, then? Ok.

What we need less of is Seth MacFarlane in front of a camera. The man just comes off as too nervous and limited on screen to be truly affable as a comedy actor.
A Seth MacFarlane vehicle produced by Jon Favreau is possibly the whitest thing conceivable. There are Confederate war memorials with more soul.
He seems fine here. I don't know if I've ever seen him in front of a camera though.

While I am in support of this sort of thing (taking the piss out of Star Trek) I can't see the joke being sustained longer than a season, much like Firefly.
"Space comedy" is something that comes up basically every other television development cycle. There are reasons that most of them never see the light of day and the few that do are quickly cancelled. I think that's what we're looking at here, Seth MacFarlane's "Quark" or "Homeboys in Outer Space".
Thank goodness someone has FINALLY made a parody of Star Trek.

Within the first five episodes they'll get desperate and do a cameo by the alien from American Dad. Also Seth's character will just start doing the Stewie voice all the time.

Was that blob Norm MacDonald?
Meh, I'll give it a try.
fedex - 2017-05-17
This looks watchable
StanleyPain - 2017-05-17
So he ripped off Other Space. Wow...
duck&cover - 2017-05-17
This looks like some stale, really unfunny shit. Five for evil.
betamaxed - 2017-05-17
I'd rather watch creating rem lezar again.
At least that movie taught kids how to make their own inappropriate flesh golem, this piece of shit macfarlane is shitting out of his aging ass can only teach us how to hate ourselves even more.

I would have preferred a straight Star Trek ripoff over a "humorous" "parody." As far as I'm aware, there isn't really anything like Star Trek on TV right now besides reruns.
Maggot Brain - 2017-05-17
CBS couldn't get Star Trek another show but Fox pulled this out of their ass.
reifiedandrefined - 2017-05-17
this makes me long for tekwar. five evil stars for that.
