I feel like I've learned a lot today.

Has Al Jourgensen pulled an Exene Cervenka? Someone give me a summary, I can't lose two musical heroes to this guy's bullshit. :(
As far as I know, Al's always been like this. I read his book a while ago (which was fun), he says he believes in aliens, ghosts, political conspiracy shadow government stuff, etc. He's brought that stuff up directly in interviews regularly over the years, but who knows how much of it is a joke since he's such a goofball. Mostly it seems like pretty harmless stuff relative to a lot of what Exene Cervenka was criticized for talking about (particularly government staged mass shootings), at least.
Yeah that's Al. Heck, I believe in a lot of that stuff too, probably more than most people. I guess it's kinda like I agree with Jones about GMOs. Speculation and criticism are what makes some humans rise to the level of philosopher king, or turn into a raving lunatic. I couldn't watch the whole thing but from what I heard it's nothing I can't say that I haven't thought about.
Also I totally didn't look at the timestamp on the video. I was surprised nobody posted anything about his interview with Megyn Kelly on here yet, although I don't know if the NBC special has aired. Anyway, it's brought national attention to Jones in a way nothing else has, the main point of contention being between Kelly and one of the Sandy Hook mothers, who is accusing her of legitimizing his theories, mainly about staged cool shootings, so it was kinda on my brain. Heck, because I didn't read the timestamp I also didn't know he had a book. I've been looking for something new to read too.
(oh fuck me, school shootings not cool shootings.)
I do love that you are careful to use the word heck in your first reply and then just drop a fuck in the next one.
