It's always a bit strange when fiction from anywhere else in the world actually mentions us as a place that exists/people live and/or come from. We were a plot point in the last Poirot story (I think it was the last one), too.

I still remember being highly-out-of-reasonable-proportions excited as a child when my actual hometown got mentioned in that TNG episode where Wesley got his cadet roommate killed.
