a sad day indeed
Finally something to combat the rampant snakehead menace!
For those of you (like me) who had never heard of "slime eels", these things are also known as hagfish. Yes, *those* hagfish. The disgusting primitive spineless eel things.
And here's a fun mental image, courtesy of wikipedia:
"the inshore hagfish, found in the Northwest Pacific, is valued as food in Korea. The hagfish is kept alive and irritated by rattling its container with a stick, prompting it to produce slime in large quantities. This slime is used in a similar manner as egg whites in various forms of cookery in the region."

"...dumping its load onto several cars and the highway..."

I'm an Oregonian myself, and this song came back to me as an earworm... no, eareel!
Fun hagfish facts:
Their bottemfeeders that feed on whale carcasses and other detrius in the deep ocean
Their slime, on contact with water can expand up to 20 liters (5.5 gallons)!
Now that's what I call a STICKY SITUATION.

That car looks so defiled.
Money shots of the elder gods.
I imagine there's a car fetishist in Japan who just had his wildest fantasy come to life.
