Somebody should go back to 2010 or so and tell the Duke Nukem Forever writers that THIS is how this joke works.

This was apparently in the works for years. The developers claim it's not a direct response to the 2016 US Presidential election and aftermath.
The 2016 elections were in the works for years, too.

Timestamp please for the part where you come across NPCs claiming that it's still better than Shrillary getting elected.

Probably the clansmen

Why do Klansmen still wear hoods in Third Reich occupied America?

Stop trying to erase our valuable history with your nonwhitewashing. The only way to remember the past is to constantly reenact it.

Pretty cool, but have you seen gameplay from Free Speech Absolutist: Slippery Slope Simulator? Great game....community is a little toxic.
you mean this? https://nasser.itch.io/dialogue-3-d

Hot damn, I can't wait to kill some goddamn nazis.

I think Wolf3D was the first game where I was like "wow, I think I like video games" maybe a little more than the average Joe at the arcade. I don't think I ever played through to the end and actually confronted the Cyber Hitler or anything, but that didn't matter because I must've created at least a thousand maps and at least that many sprite-edits to make the Nazis explode more violently, lose their clothes when shot, etc. DOOM and Duke3D eventually took Wolf3D's place, but Wolfie was the first, and probably in a way how I ended up in this corner of the internet in the first place. I'm willing to accept that the new Wolfenstein games probably won't have the same impact, but damnit this means as much to me as a new Mario does for console gamers.
