There's a whole lot of these Bunnies reenact blah blah blah in 30 seconds videos, and the idea isn't as solid as it ought to be. The pace fucks up the timing or something.

Let's hear it for those Crazy Italians who came up with "Cannibal Holocaust". I was just reading something the other day about how "Blair Witch" changed horror movies with its innovative use of the Found Footage Technique. This was how many years before that? More than 20 years, I think.
I feel like having more visually iconic movies helps because they can actually whip through the scenes faster for comedic effect. Not that these were particularly ever great, but some were cute back in the day.

Praise be unto Fulci, godfather of WTF cinema, and blessings upon his maligned and grotesque descendants. Cannibal Holocaust is such a delightful piece of crap, you can't help but have a soft spot for, even if it is barely MST3K material with the budget and acting of a highschool class project.
Fulci didn't make Cannibal Holocaust, though he did make "Zombie 2" which is generally considered to be the film that sort of kicked off the Italian zombie film wave of the late 70s.

I know he didn't. I'm saying we have him to thank for wedging the door open, so to speak, that lead to movies like Cannibal Holocaust. Without Fulci, there is no Romero, no Raimi. Hell, No Peter Jackson.

This is directed by Deodato. As awesome as Fulci was, Deodato surpassed him with CH and House on the Edge of the Park. Also, Romero predates Fulci, and it was H.G. Lewis who is generally credited as the "godfather of gore".

Ghost stars for Fulci, no stars for this.
5 Stars for the cartoon bunnies.

the cartoon bunnies are a great idea, it should be funnier. i like the bunny with the pipe at the end, though. I'd give five stars for fulci, but I don't see what he has to do with this.
