Disclosure: I was in this guy’s church for the majority of my childhood. I learned a healthy disregard for Christian piety, and Ruckman was key to that. He had no love for it either. Swore like a sailor out of the pulpit.

I remember once he had a plan to pretend he was converting to the Church of Satan to get publicity and prove his theories about the perpetal salvation of the soul.
