The main riff from 'take on me' looped onto the blandest shit imaginable.
I'm not suggesting 'take on me' is some unadulterable masterpiece or anything, but the empty soullessness of that song is just depressing.
What's even stranger is that the song is relatively old (I recall hearing it on the radio like four years ago) and it's not unique or overly popular or widely acclaimed or old enough to be considered "classic" so God only knows why it was picked to be shoved into this movie. I mean yeah, it's a Christina Aguilera song and she is in this movie, but typically don't studios pick new flavor of the month shit when they do that?
I'm not going to get high and mighty as growing up there were plenty of awful examples of kids entertainment in my day and age. But this is really bad.
The kids are better off with the generated by algorithm elsa/spiderman/joker fetish videos because at least they won't grow up to be squares after watching them.
