Jordan Lewis (the guy in brown and gold, and my personal hero) is tough as nails. But no, not even a free kick, totally legal in AFL. Only the hardest of men run back into the flight of play. I had splint fractures in my lower left leg from running back into Chris "The Tractor" Prime, ex Norwood League player playing for Ports Magpies vs Cleve Bombers (Previously the Bloods). Aussie Rules is a hard game, and nearly anything goes, no send off rule (especially during finals) but you can be rubbed out for things like striking, or lifting the elbow during a bump/hip & shoulder and get suspended for following weeks via the disciplinary board/panel.
