So here's the thing about Dolly: she's pretty cool. She is totally LGBT friendly, she is all about youth education, and she seems really dedicated to trying to raise consciousness in the Red States. Yes, she's tacky, but she's great.
Yeah, she's good on some social issues for someone who was still publicly stating that she wasn't sure who she would vote for as late as August last year.
That doesn't make a Medieval Times style production of the Nativity any less submission worthy. This isn't political.
People, what about any of this is about the birth of a baby? The messy, cussy, stress ball of pain to do this out in some goat barn with nothing but some woodworker to catch the meconium-covered messiah, where's that? When are they going to do the physically, medically accurate portrayal of childbirth for this event? This would have been the perfect venue for that opportunity.
I feel embarrassed saying this, but I kinda just wanted to see boobies.
