Get a lawyer, kid.

infinite zest - 2018-01-01 I know a lot of lawyers who have children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

simon666 - 2017-12-30
"I love swatting kids who think nothing is going to happen." What a sadistic piece of shit.
Monkey Napoleon - 2017-12-30
You're The Devil, jang. DramaAlert? Really?
jangbones - 2017-12-30 i cannot defend myself or the execrable DramaAlert, but they did score this interview which is clearly, umm, worthy
Nikon - 2017-12-30
Hope this guy goes to jail forever.
dairyqueenlatifah - 2017-12-30
The worst part of this whole thing is the guy who died wasn't even the guy he intended to swat. He gave them the wrong address on accident, and it was just some complete stranger minding his own business who wasn't even involved in their CoD faggotry.
simon666 - 2017-12-30 That's awful. I hadn't heard that. As an aside, it seems like there is something fundamentally wrong with how police decide to active swat teams when anyone, literally anyone, can make a call, make up a story, and the swat team in its full force descends upon a persons house. Shouldn't a uniformed cop drive by first an assess the situation, something, anything?
Monkey Napoleon - 2017-12-31 People say that now, when the results are bad and some innocent guy dies, but then later when some deeply damaged guy finally snaps and chops the heads off his wife and children, they'll say "why didn't the police take this anonymous tip more seriously?"
The way I understand it, the way to make this happen is to claim there is a hostage situation specifically because you can't really tell from the outside if someone's got the occupants of the house tied up in a closet.
Over-zealous police aside, I'm not sure if the law punishes people hard enough for doing shit like this even when nobody is hurt.
jangbones - 2017-12-31 two guys on the same CoD team (yes, two guys from the same team) got into an argument after losing a $1.50 match
when it escalated to threats, loser number one gave out a fake address and dared loser number two to swat him
loser number two sent the messages and the address to loser number three, SWAuTistic, who was a well known swatter (he was arrested for a fake bomb threat about a year ago, not sure how he skated from that one)
I imagine losers one and two will also get charged with something, although I am not sure what or how serious that could possibly be, or even if they could get convicted
don't forget the complicity of the police department, who gunned down a confused, unarmed, completely innocent man... although history says punishment for that will never be serious
Nominal - 2017-12-31 The worst part about the manslaughter prankster getting someone killed with a phoney swatting was that it wasn't his intended target to do a phoney swatting???
bawbag - 2017-12-31 Have to agree with Nominal here.
The worst part is that a guy got murdered by a gamer moron sending cops to his house.
kingofthenothing - 2017-12-31
And my friends wonder why I never, ever, ever play multiplayer online games.
Jesus. Fucking bastard.
Monkey Napoleon - 2017-12-31 Well, just don't give people your address... or in this case, the address of a guy who lives down the street from you.
The guy he *meant* to target is a dipshit also.
StanleyPain - 2017-12-31 CoD has one of the worst online communities of any game in history pretty much, so I wouldn't judge all online games by CoD. I've played my share of games that had significant online elements and I honestly have never had any worse than a dumb kid calling me "faggot" or something. CoD (and other military shooters like Arma etc.) draw in the worst of the worst. A really big problem in CoD is cheaters who use hacked consoles and shit to trace people's IPs and do things like DDOS attacks, causing lag to whole game servers, and all kinds of shit. It is *really* bad...way worse than the studios want to admit. MS, Sony, Steam etc....all pretend like they have it all under control with their security checks and bans and all that, but believe me..they barely have a handle on it. This is why the older games in the series are more popular than the newer ones, because there are whole communities of fucktards who already spent so many buying hacked consoles and controllers and shit that now they don't want to leave it behind.
bawbag - 2017-12-31 LoL has the absolute worst community online imo
Raggamuffin - 2017-12-31 No apologies for the guy who did this but it would be just super if the cops could somehow discover a middle ground between letting the machine take a message vs busting in and shooting up any random address that that comes down the pipe as if lootboxes are going to pop out of it.
Raggamuffin - 2017-12-31 meant as a reply to dairyqueen

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2017-12-31
The guy comes off as a YouTube moron at first, but turns out to be a tougher interviewer than most moderators at the presidential debates.
Also: this guy's going to jail for a long, long time.
Monkey Napoleon - 2017-12-31 Oh, Keemstar (the host) is almost as big a piece of shit as the swatter kid. The only reason it appears he has any kind of moral compass is because the incident doesn't involve him at all.
His channel used to be a lot more popular. He's been known to make up stories on his show of crazy shit the people he accuses didn't do, in some cases making their lives really unpleasant, and then being a breathtakingly tremendous asshole about it when criticized.
SolRo - 2017-12-31
5 for evil of him probably getting off lightly because there are no laws that specifically harshly punish something like this.
jangbones - 2017-12-31 if the call is considered a felony, it's possible he could get charged under the felony murder rule
SolRo - 2017-12-31 Intent would be hard to prove. Also a murder conviction would codify that the police are inherently killers.
bawbag - 2017-12-31 "a murder conviction would codify that the police are inherently killers."
Well at least some good may come of this seemingly boundless stupidity.
SolRo - 2018-01-02 I think the official excuse is that he moved his hand(s?)towards his waist thus making pre-emptive murder okay and totally justified.
Old_Zircon - 2017-12-31
This is pretty much a microcosm of the 2016 election cycle. Think about it for a minute and it will make sense.

memedumpster - 2018-01-01
Cops are just gamers LARPing it in real life.
Gamers are just cops LARPing it online.
People will continue having to live on a world with them and eat their abuse until they are dealt with.
Press X to hold your breath.

SolRo - 2018-01-02 Everyone needs cops*
*cops that are held to a much higher standard of training, education, behavior and not being trigger happy cowards.
memedumpster - 2018-01-02 The cops you want do not exist and yes, we need them.
Unless you're saying anyone can be called a Who Needs Cop now?
Fuck ISIS, no wait, we need cops.
Fuck Hitler, no wait, we need cops.
Fuck the racist genocidal militia who commits mass murder against black people, oh wait, we need cops.
What you actually are saying is "I like it when cops kill people."
Who needs SDC.
BorrowedSolution - 2018-01-03 Yeah, mannnnn. It's like we need some sort of armed and trained group of bros with guns to get rid of these HORRIBLE! RACIST! police officers!
We'll give them cars, and walkie-talkies, and german shepherds, and sizable budgets, and then they can go PEWPEWPEW at the nasty old pig-monsters until we're all safe.

jangbones - 2019-03-29
