Kind of a metaphor for saving up to go on vacation. It takes a lot of effort to make it possible and then it's over way too quickly.

What's a vacation?

Ha ha I'm sad.

"Here Sisyphus, here boy!"

Sisyphus would be the happiest dog.

Dogs.

This video came out after a conversation I had with my GF about whether we could adopt a dog. I was saying dogs are victims of their own intelligence, and need ways to stimulate those highly co-evolved brains they have or else they spiral into doggy depression.

I shared stories about how giving my dad's dog access to a deck overlooking the backyard at my parents house at all times led to him being much more content as he would often choose on his own gumption to walk out there and observe nature. Helped him to tolerate long quiet spells without as much supervision from humans.

Unfortunately we live in a small apartment with no such deck or yard for a dog so we can't adopt one now. But seeing this guy entertaining himself like this is no surprise, just gotta give that brain another dose of whee

Yeah, I think my cat is a bit depressed. I'm home a lot, I don't work, but she's always been pretty weird. I don't know what to do about it, to be honest...

Simillion: check out Kong's line of plastic toys with food in them - keeps my boys occupied for hours.

Cool poochie, reminds me of one video where a Dog goes down the water slide repeatedly. I'd like to see more Dogs playing on this hill with sleds, ones who have never sledded before, and see if they'll learn sledding too.

Interesting when someone calls a Dog 'it' these days, in most quarters society has given more personhood to the pooches.

I used to have a cat named Stallman, who would carry a little ball to the top of stairs, drop it from the top step, and chase it as it bounced down the steps. That was pretty cool, but this is cooler. Dogs are a handful, but if you have a car and can invest the attention, I suppose they're better than cats.
