uhhhh what did I just watch?

Supposedly, the story is that Michael Mann doesn't want this released because the cut footage from the movie is mostly lost and he would only release it as a director's cut thing. It sucks, but there it is. I've been kinda hoping for a fan-release (sort of like the Star Wars Despecialized Edition) of this movie, but I don't think there's the interest in it for someone to spend that much time and effort putting it together.

Honestly I personally don't like this ending as it runs contrary to the book, where Glaeken definitely dies which seems more fitting.

Stars for revealing a scene of this that I haven't seen yet, but honestly there's no saving this movie. It's just not very good.
