You're right, but its cut in at a weird place and I swear it looks different each time I try to compare scenes. Let's pretend it's an hour of cut footage and this is the definitive director's cut.
Just a bizarre experience. This movie is so earnest and sincere it's impossible to hate it, but it's so incompetently made and jarring to watch that it's just headache after headache.
The giggling mouse is maybe the most annoying character in MNR history.
This is barely above some of the short films I've seen on public access channels in terms of production values. Like, there was this one short movie I saw, must have been 40 minutes long, it was something like an attempt at a crime drama by someone with only the faintest familiarity with the tropes - it was all about a gang out to steal some money from some other criminals and the detective who was trying to catch them and the soundtrack used a lot of the music from the original Star Trek series no doubt without permission but dutifully credited the music to Fred Steiner.
