Also its very likely that there will be catastrophically sharp rises (eg 3m in one go) if/when antarctic 'ice-dams' melt and ice-sheets go sliding into the sea. The rise will come from the amount of water they'll displace. Eg. The Thwaites Glacier which scientists are worried about is several miles thick with a surface area of Pennsylvania (120,000 square km)

So, has NOT tossing horses into the sea as a sacrifice to Poseidon helped so far? Get with it, religion, you spent every screeching moment since the 1950's discovered climate change telling us you had this one! Where the fuck is that God magic you promised us?
So, how would you like to go, poeTV? Poseidon's wrath at Christian magical failure, death by 162F heat wave, or the 1918 flu newly thawed out and dropped on your neighborhood from the troposphere?
Oh yeah, or World War III / Civil War II, since violence rises with temperature.
If you say "suicide," you're no fun at all and wont go to the bonus round : cannibalism in the wastelands for survival.
I will have dementia by then so when they break into my personal care home looking for warm unsweetened juice I will ask them if they are my son and why don't they visit more often.
I just got the most acute hit of deja vous.
I personally am looking forward to the utter breakdown of civilization and rule of law so that I can shoot and eat you all without consequence.

I'm likely hopelessly dumb but if you consider all of the earth's oceans as one gigantic connected body of water wouldn't it then rise and fall uniformly (not accounting for tidal effects of course)? I think my head is broken.
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
The shape of the seas + continents / the local gravity / the tides / and tings affect the local sea level.
Eg At the arctic, sea level is rising due to all the water being released from ice, but also lowering because there is now less ice and therefore less gravitational attraction causing the sea to bunch up there.
