StanleyPain Creationist pseudoscience to try and justify a fairy tale is some of the more entertaining garbage they produce. My personal favorite is the argument that the speed of light isn't actually constant, so therefore the universe is definitely less than 6,000 years old. How is the speed of light not constant? Because...god changed the speed or something.
exy To be fair, Carter did impose many speed limits during his term. That's one time it changed.
Old_Zircon I like the explanation of petrified forests:
During Noah's flood many logs were floating on the surface of the water. As they became saturated they got heavier and sank, but one end sank faster than the other, so they embedded themselves in the ocean floor like arrows, and when the flood waters receded, they were still standing.
There was a big display about that at the OG Creationist museum in San Diego when I went there in '97
