I missed it, but “Pandemonium” was maybe a case of sensory overload in a positive way.

As soon as I saw this clip I knew this was it; a song from this (I love the hippo) was one of those vague childhood “is this real or done imagined childhood song?” memories. I’d never hunted it down but I thank you for the suddden confirmation that it actually was a thing I saw as a kid, even if I only got some of the lyrics and tune right.

Short way to say Hippopotamus, which is the long way to say Water Horse.

Serious shit goes down @1:11. It’s a type of tone shift that will give you whiplash

The songs were shit, the animation was worse than shit, but I also liked the Hippo.

Yeah, for me I didn't remember it being particularly good, or liking it a lot, but that song was just some weird "was that really a thing?" childhood memory artifact.

I understand. For me, it was Roger Ramjet.

I had never heard of this before last Monday, but I thought the animation was actually pretty great.

Same here, Zircon. I think it looks great!

January von Rodeo
definitely bringing more Hungarian animation on my next round!
