It seems a lot of pop-and-lock dancers from the 80s got second careers as TV robots in the 90s.

I'm glad I can spread the joy of german pop-culture in the 90s to all my internet kumpels.
Gotta respect the actor in the suit. Very good moves for a bit role.
The performer in the suit was none other than Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" chambers aka "Turbo" from Breakin' and Breakin' 2

As good as the voice acting is, "war ich das etwa?" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Kraftwerk wrote a song called "Hast du den Käse?" but they decided against including it on Die Mensch Maschine because it didn't fit in well enough with the theme of the album. It would have been perfect to have Urkel-bot sing it. :(
Does Steve Urkel speak to the German character in the same deeply profound way that it speaks to the American character?
Needless to say, this show was enormously successful in Germany. Urkel is dubbed by the same guy who does the German voice for Spongebob Squarepants.
Some people said Urkelbot is when Family Matters jumped the shark.

Those people are fucking imbeciles.
