From Wikipedia:
"Night Train to Terror was pieced together from three other films:[2]

Cataclysm (1980) (AKA: The Nightmare Never Ends; Satan's Supper) (edited into the Claire Hansen segment)[3]
Death Wish Club (1983) (AKA: The Dark Side of Love; Carnival of Fools; Gretta) (edited into the Greta Connors segment)[4]
Scream Your Head Off (1981; unfinished) (edited into the Harry Billings segment)"

This movie is pretty dedicated to flouting the "Show, Don't Tell" rule of screenwriting in every possible scenario where it might come up.

This movie is something other than else. I kinda want to see the actual individual movies on their own, but I get the feeling it would only be a let down.

That would be like watching the sausage get made.

It's worth noting that they did more than edit the footage together with the "God and Satan and a horrible eighties band on a doomed train" device. Some of the effects were souped up in the remix, and they made a big difference. Most notably, that great stop-action killer mosquito.

Considering that the film exists, I'd say that Satan won that argument.

I meant "stop-motion". How embarrassing...

"Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey" was a weird choice of Beatles songs to lift a hook from.

Did some scratching on this, the singer/breakdancer is a dude named "Byron Yordon", who was in a few other movies, but now works at a Hollister in La Jolla.

Imagine working at a Hollister in your mid-50s.
